DESCRIPTION:Event Overview\nThe IPA Games 2026 will take place in Wrocław\, Poland\, from 10–15 May\, uniting IPA members from around the world for a week of sport\, camaraderie\, and international friendship. Participants will compete in a variety of disciplines while experiencing the vibrant culture and historic charm of one of Poland’s most picturesque cities. \nAlongside the sporting programme\, attendees can enjoy social events\, cultural activities\, and the chance to explore Wrocław’s famous landmarks and attractions. \nEvent Schedule (Outline)\nSunday – Arrival (meal provided)Monday – Accommodation check-in\, starter pack distribution\, Opening Ceremony (14:00)Tuesday – 5K Running + additional disciplinesWednesday – Pistol Shooting\, Swimming\, Chess + further eventsThursday – 10K Running + additional disciplines\, Closing Ceremony (18:00)Friday – Departure \nA detailed sports timetable will be shared once registration has closed. \nMain Sports Disciplines\nTeam Sports\n\n\nFootball (5+1 system) – outdoor natural surface; up to 12 players \n\n\nVolleyball – indoor; 6×6 system; up to 12 players \n\n\nBasketball 3×3 – 3 players + 1 reserve \n\n\nIndividual & Team Competitions\n\n\nTable Tennis – male/female singles; team category (3 athletes + reserve) \n\n\nPistol Shooting (9mm) – male/female individual; team event (3 athletes); weapons provided \n\n\nRunning – 5 km and 10 km; male/female; age categories \n\n\nMind Sports\n\n\nChess – rapid chess (7 rounds)\, Swiss system\, 15 min + 12 sec per move \n\n\nMartial Arts\n\n\nJudo – male and female divisions\, age and weight categories \n\n\nAdditional Sports Disciplines\n\n\nSwimming – 50m freestyle\, 50m classic\, 4×25m MIX (at least one woman) \n\n\nTennis – men’s and women’s singles (open) \n\n\nBadminton – men’s/women’s singles\, 40+\, doubles\, mixed doubles \n\n\nParticipants may register for one additional discipline; confirmation will be provided once registration closes. \nAccommodation Overview\nAll official IPA Games hotels are: \n\n\n10–15 minutes’ walk from Wrocław’s historic centre \n\n\nClose to sports venues \n\n\nWell-connected by public transport \n\n\nApproximately 40 minutes from Wrocław Airport \n\n\nAccommodation packages include: \n\n\nBreakfast \n\n\nOne additional daily meal (half board) \n\n\nFull access to the IPA Games 2026 programme \n\n\nHotels range from Campanile and Hotel Piast to Mövenpick Grand Hotel\, Mercure\, Novotel\, and others. \nAdditional Activities\nParticipants can also look forward to: \n\n\nRegional Evening (details to follow) \n\n\nPowerZone Event \n\n\n#SHEisIPA feature \n\n\nSafety and local guidance \n\n\nInformation on drinking safe tap water in Wrocław \n\n\n“Get to Know Wrocław” cultural highlights \n\n\nRegistration & Payment\n\n\nRegistration opens: 11 November 2025 \n\n\nRegistration closes: 1 February 2026 \n\n\nPayment deadline: 28 February 2026 \n\n\nRegistration must be completed via National Sections — individual entries cannot be accepted.Links and forms have been distributed through the IAC to all National Sections.
