DESCRIPTION:Advancing digitalization is also changing everyday police life: modern communication systems\, mobile applications\, situation platforms and sensor technology are opening up new possibilities for efficient incident management and real-time coordination. This German-Italian seminar provides practical information on how digital technologies can be used in a targeted manner in patrol duty and at major events – from situational awareness and operations control to communication between forces in the field. \nParticipants will gain insights into current technical developments\, proven operational concepts and future prospects of digital policing. The focus is on the practice-oriented exchange of experience on the opportunities\, limits and security aspects of digital systems in operational use.
