SUMMARY:IPA Brazil Favela on Duty 2026
DESCRIPTION:IPA Brasil is pleased to invite members to the 3rd edition of Favela on Duty\, running from 19–30 September. This international police exchange programme offers participants first-hand experience with Rio de Janeiro’s specialised police units in high-intensity urban environments. Officers will take part in operational and theoretical training\, visit local police units\, and engage in CORE and special forces activities\, including time in uniform. \nAlongside professional policing\, participants will enjoy cultural and tourism experiences\, including excursions to Ilha Grande\, visits to historical prisons\, helicopter tours\, iconic Rio landmarks\, and basic Brazilian culinary experiences. The programme concludes with continued engagement with special forces and a symbolic tree-planting activity. \nDue to its physically demanding nature\, the programme is not recommended for elderly officers or those with physical limitations\, and some elements may not suit officers with halal dietary restrictions.

SUMMARY:8th IPA Barcelona Trans-Pyrenees Route 2026
DESCRIPTION:Organized by IPA Catalunya\, the 8th Transpirenaica IPA route is not a race nor a rally. It’s a journey through the beautiful French and Spanish Pyrenees\, alternating between the two countries during the entire route. For those who enjoy riding the bike and long tour\njourneys\, it’s a hard path\, full of winding roads and high mountains\, featuring landscapes that can only be enjoyed when riding a bike in different ways. This route combines planning\, adventure and improvisation\, making it a challenge. In this edition\, the start will be from Irún\, the usual destination city\, becoming the start of this year’s route.

DESCRIPTION:The International Police Association (IPA) Section Kenya is pleased to invite you to participate in the 2nd IPA International Investigations Seminar: Advancing Professional\, Ethical\, and Technology-Driven Policing in a Rapidly Changing Global Crime Landscape\, which will take place from Sunday 1st to Saturday 7th November 2026 at the National Criminal Investigations Academy (NCIA)\, Nairobi\, Kenya. \nThis seven-day international seminar will bring together investigators\, law enforcement professionals\, and expert speakers from various IPA Sections and partner institutions to exchange knowledge\, share best practices\, and strengthen investigative capacity in response to emerging global crime trends. \nThe programme will explore key investigative themes including: \n\n\nRoad traffic accident investigations \n\n\nChild trafficking and protection-focused investigations \n\n\nNarcotics and organised crime investigations \n\n\nForensic science and evidence management \n\n\nCybercrime and digital investigations \n\n\nHomicide investigations \n\n\nCriminal justice systems \n\n\nThe seminar will feature expert presentations\, case studies\, practical demonstrations\, and educational exposure visits to specialised state facilities.
