SUMMARY:COPS 2.0 - War on Drugs
DESCRIPTION:Ben jij klaar om je tactische en forensische vaardigheden naar een hoger niveau te tillen? IPA Antwerpen presenteert met trots de nieuwste editie van het Cops 2.0 seminarie. Van 16 tot en met 23 augustus 2026 transformeren we Campus Vesta tot het zenuwcentrum van kennisdeling\, actie en internationale politiesamenwerking. \nWat kun je verwachten?\nDeze intensieve week staat in het teken van de hedendaagse uitdagingen op het terrein\, met een sterke focus op de “War on Drugs” en georganiseerde misdaad. Onder begeleiding van topexperts van onder andere de FGP\, DOVO en het NICC duiken we in theorie én praktijk: \n\n\nDe Strijd tegen Drugs: Diepgaande sessies over druggerelateerd geweld en internationale samenwerking rondom de havens van Antwerpen en Rotterdam. We zoomen met specialisten van CRU-DISOC ook in op de wereld van synthetische drugs\, inclusief een praktijkbezoek aan een synthetisch drugslab in kleine groepen op het terrein. \n\n\nWapens en Explosieven: Leer alles over de verschillende soorten IED’s in theorie en praktijk met de experts van DOVO en scherp je kennis aan tijdens de praktische ballistiek- en forensische workshops. \n\n\nTactiek & Technologie: Ontdek met de specialisten van het Team Voertuigen de nieuwste methodieken om verborgen ruimtes in auto’s op te sporen en leer alles over de inzet van drones in de praktijk. \n\n\nSkills & Drills: Fysieke en tactische trainingen\, waaronder mesretentie\, wapenstokgebruik\, een politiespecifiek rollenspel en een exclusieve praktijkworkshop van FN Herstal. \n\n\n\nNetwerken & Ontspanning\nNaast het harde werken is er ruimschoots aandacht voor de befaamde IPA-vriendschap (“Servo per Amikeco”). \n\n\nAvondprogramma’s: Iedere dag wordt afgesloten met gezamenlijke maaltijden\, en op vrijdag organiseren we een grote afscheids-BBQ met live muziek voor alle deelnemers en begeleiders. \n\n\nAntwerpen Excursie: Zaterdag trekken we de stad in! Geniet van een tour door Antwerpen-Zuid of een boottocht op de Schelde.
